First week
The teaching practice started on 07/11/2018. I was really excited to come to the same school again.Reached school at 9:10 a.m .. went and met the school principal. handed over the attendance register and after marking my attendance I went to 9C..this time I was assigned to teach both physics and chemistry for students of 9C.These students were little troublesome compared to the other class students.I didnot have a good experience this day.
08/11/2018:Today I reached school by 9:10 am ,marked attendance. I had chemistry class for 9 C at first period and physics for them at 3rd period.there was no more class for me today.
09/11/2018:I was on leave today as I was not well.
Second week
12-11-2018 to 16-11-2018
The main incidents that happened this week is the celebration of childrens day. it was celebrated so grantly that all the teachers performed programmes for the students.. There was inaugural funcion and after that afternoon programmes was conducted.students were given biriyani.
we also performed a song and dance for the students.This week I completed the portions upto neutralisation reaction in chemistry and refractive index in Physics.On 16-11-2018 I conducted a test paper on both physics and chemistry.
Third week
19-11-2018 to 24-11-2018
This week I got class for 9C only 3 days because 20-11-2018 was a holiday and 22-11-2018 and 23-11-2018 I was on leave ase I wass suffering from fever.This week I completed portion upto salts in chemistry and total internal reflection in physics.
Fourth week
26-11-2018 to 30-11-2018
This week too there was class only on 28 and 29 . 26th and 27th there was youth festival in school so students were given holiday.30th it was educational strike.on 28th my optional teacher came for observing my class. I was taking the porthion pH value for he students .After observing my class he told me that I took the class very nicely and also reminded me some points to be improved.
0n 29th my General teacher came for observing my class .I took the portion lens at that time.after observing the class she pointed out the positives as well as negatives in my way of teaching.she told that overall my class was good.
Fifth week
03-12-2018 to 07-12-2018
This week I covered the portion upto Ammonia in chemistry and Defects of eye in physics. on 6th I kept extra class for the students upto 4:30. on 7th I conducted diagnostic test for the students. on the same day the students were taken to the auditorium for watching a short film directed by a cancer patient who was seeking money for his treatment
Sixth week
10-12-2018 to 14-12-2018
10th was holiday for students but we had to go.11th onwards the christmas exams started .I had no supervision duty, so principal told us to go home at 11.am. On 12th I had supervision duty at 8C at afternoon .After the duty i went home at 3.30.on 13 I had reserve duty so I was given duty at 8B and after supervision I went home at 12.p.m.On 14th as it was a harthal exams were postponed to 21st
Seventh week
17-12-2018 to 21-12-2018
on 17th I was on Reserve duty so I had no supervision so I went home at 11.30.On 18th I had supervision duty afternoon at 9C .So after the duty I went home at 3 p.m. on 19th i was on leave.
2oth we had christmas celebration at college so we went to college there was many programmes cake cuuting, carol competition , gift exachange etc. After the programme we came back to school and marked our attendance and went back home. On 21 we all had Reserve duty so we were sitting in the staff roThe principal asked as to come to her room and then she gave us cakes and also christmas gifts ..I felt very happy because this was my first experience of receiving gift from head of the institution. Then she told us that we could go home .so we went home. the school closed for christmas vacation.
Eighth Week
31-12-2018 to 04-01-2018
31st school reopened.s.on ist jan and 2nd jan there was no class.. on 3rd jan as it was harthal there was no class.On 4th Jan I reached school ..today i covered the portions upto contact process in chemistry and during my physics class i distributed the answer papers.Then I had a substitution at 9D.
Nineth Week
07-01-2018 to 11-01-2018
On 7th Jan after taking my classes at 9C I went for peer observation at Anjana's class. She was taking the portion current and coulomb.8th Jan and 9th Jan was holiday due to national strike.On 10th as usual I had physics class only for 9C.I covered the portion upto E.M.F.Our optional teacher came for observing our classes.on 11th after taking my class at 9c I went for observing Tessy's class.This week I completed the portion upto sulphuric acid in chemistry and E.M.F in physics.
Tenth Week
14-01-2018-18-01-2018
On 14th Jan I conducted achievement test and also conscientization test for students on the topic" Mobile Phones-a boon and a curse".It was indeed a good experience for me.15 Jan was
holiday due to pongal.16 and 17 Jan we had lot of substitution classes beyond our own classes.
18 jan was the last day of our teaching practice.So at first period after completing the chapter in chemistry my students made me to sing songs and also they too sang for me. They bid me farewell and gave their feedback about my class.We also bid farewell to the school teachers and also to the Principal.It was indeed a good experience for me.
