It was the first day of my teaching practice at St.Joseph G H S S,Kollam.
I really enjoyed the school environment. The students are very smart and attentive.Today I had total four classes including both 8th and 9th students.After each class I had a lot of experience and a self realisation about my teaching skills.I realised that I need to improve my subject competency, and my teaching strategy.
Second week ....18.06.2018-22.06.2018
A lot happened this week... It was full of new experiences. 19.06.2018 was celebrated in the school as it was Reading day..The students are so talented .They presented many poems ,short stories etc....20.06.2018 ..today our general teacher Mrs.Kochu Thresya came for observing my class. after observing my class she suggested some strategies for improving my teaching. Next day was International Yoga day. There was special programmes arranged for the students on Yoga day.On friday there was a installation ceremony conducted in the school.This week I completed the topic "Can atoms be divided" for nineth and upto "Pure substances and mixtures" for eighth standard.
Third week....25.06.2018-29.06.2018
This week specialities are the celebration of AntiDrugs day and a short film presentation based on APJ abdul kalam dream..named" AAKASHAGOPURAM"
This week I teached with the aid of ICT. So I was able to see the audio visual room of the school. the teachers are really so copoerative .they helped me a lot in teaching.
This week I completed the topic Bohr model for 9th and completed the first chapter for 8th standard.
Fourth week...02.07.2018-06-07-2018
This week I was able to take class only two days because Monday and wednesday there was educational strike by SFI and KSU. then Thursday it was sports day at school ..Then friday I got class.So I completed the portion upto electronic configuration.And conducted test paper for 8th standard.
